This crochet sweater design is worked from the bottom up in rounds after the first row. UK terms only

The bobble pattern is only on the front. The work is split into front and back at the bottom of the armholes and worked in rows up to the neck and shoulders. The 2-3 years size has no seams to sew and the two larger sizes only have shoulder seams to sew. The sleeves are worked in rounds directly from the armholes down to the ribbed cuffs so are easily adjustable. For age 2-3 (see front and back views of top photos) there are two handmade or purchased buttons at each shoulder. For ages 4-5 (bottom left photo) there is a rolled edge neck and for ages 6-7 there is a boat neck with rolled edging. All sweaters are finished with a gentle flare at the lower edge but can be changed to a ribbed edging if preferred or just left plain (see instructions at the end).

Difficulty/skill level: Intermediate

Crochet techniques used in these sweaters: working in rounds, increasing & decreasing stitches, ribbing, bobbles, changing colours, rolled neck edging, handmade crochet buttons.
